Apartment to rent in Pissouri Cyprus
The popular village of Pissouri, with its many restaurants and cafes, is just inland from the south coast of Cyprus. A few minutes away is our 2 bedroomed apartment with stunning views overlooking Pissouri Bay and inland views towards the Troodos range of mountains.
Available for holiday rental, the spacious apartment has a large balcony, large living room/diner and family sized kitchen. There is also a patio outside the two bedrooms. The apartment is in a small resort complex which has a beautiful swimming pool.
The nearby beach has EU blue flag status and a range of water sports as well as safe bathing and, close by, a variety of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. The village retains the charms of traditional Cypriot life yet has all of the amenities required for modern day living. The nearest large centre is Paphos, with its many sites of historical interest plus all the features one would expect to find in a modern holiday town. Paphos airport is 20 minutes away.
The lovely village of Pissouri is in the south-west of Cyprus, with easy access from the new motorway linking Pafos and Limassol. The main part of the village sits on a hilltop approximately two kilometres inland giving outstanding views of the surrounding countryside and coastline. Pissouri beach is approximately 3 kilometres by road from the main village.
Our
apartment is at the top of the village and the view from our patio
stretches from the Troodos mountains in the north through Episkopi to
the Akrotiri peninsular in the south.
The large balcony, which opens off the living area, has spectacular views
to the central mountain range, Troodos, to the north, across the vineyards
outside the village down to Episkopi Bay and the Akrotiri peninsular to
the south.
A swimming pool for tenants' private use is just 50 metres stroll from the apartment.
The Village. There are many supermarkets in the village and so many restaurants that you can eat at a different place every day. Additionally there are several coffee shops, bars and take-aways. The village has two banks, both on the main square, plus other amenities such as hairdressing, cake shops, a Post Office and a taxi service. The main square has been pedestrianised and is very attractive with decorative brick, stone paving and a fountain.
The Beach. The beach can be reached by car in about 10 minutes, directly from the centre of the village on a newly surfaced road. Facilities at the beach include two luxury hotels, restaurants and shops and various watersports are available in the main summer season. The beach is in a bay which is mostly sandy, and very clean - it has been awarded 'Blue Flag' status.
